320 - The Cabin - Lizard

Located on the cliffs, east of Lizard Lighthouse and bordered by the coastal path, 'The Cabin' enjoys spectacular sea views all round. Perfect for a short break while you explore this section of the coastal path which runs right from your doorstep.

It is surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty and designated an area of special scientific interest due to the abundance of rare flora and fauna. Lizard village shops, pub and restaurants are a pleasant 20 minute walk along the cliffs or a mile by car. Housel Bay, suitable for swimming, is a 15 minute walk and Kynance Cove a short drive away. The property is at the end of a half mile gated rough track, so please drive with great care. Not suitable for young children.

This self-contained unit is located below and forward of the main property 'Bass Point Lookout' (see property 108) and offers a separate two roomed unit with superb sea views. Being of a basic nature, but with well-equipped kitchen consisting of electric cooker with hob, microwave and fridge. The lounge/bedroom has heated towel rail, wardrobe, built-in cupboard unit with drawers, heater and colour TV with VHS and radio/CD unit. Two single beds (one of which folds away) provide the seating/sleeping. There is a raised dais from where there are breathtaking 180 degree sea and coastal views, and upon which are the dining table and two chairs. Under the dais is storage for the second single bed. Separated by a folding door is the shower room with shower cubicle and electric shower, toilet and handbasin. Outside is an allocated parking space and a lawned area with 'Jack & Jill' bench seating.

Lettings must be between three to five nights only, and may not cross over a Friday unless let in conjunction with Bass Point Lookout. In this case The Cabin may be booked for the duration of the main let. For more information or to book please phone us on 01326 240333.
