128 - The Haven - Lizard

The Haven is an attractive 'L' shaped barn conversion on the outskirts of Lizard village and only half a mile away by footpath from the coast. A good selection of shops, restaurants/pubs are a few minutes walk from the cottage and the popular National Trust sandy cove at Kynance is a mile away. A pleasant walk along the coastal footpath will take you to Lizard Point, the most southerly point of England, Lizard lighthouse and just a little further the lifeboat station with its steep slipway.

The conversion has been carefully carried out keeping as much of the original material of the barn as possible with beamed ceilings, deep silled windows and wooden floors. Stable door to open-plan lounge/dining room with beamed ceiling includes three-piece suite, table and chairs, colour TV, Video and DVD player. Fitted kitchen area with 'Belfast' sink, built-in electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine.

There are two bedrooms, a double with 4'6" bed and dressing table and a twin bedroom with 3' single beds.
Bathroom, bath with shower over, handbasin and toilet.

Small rear courtyard with garden furniture. Off-road parking for two cars on the driveway. Rental includes electricity, night storage heating and bedlinen.

This property accepts two dogs by prior arrangement.

Mrs Wood Ipswich Suffolk on 12 / 04 / 2008		Very enjoyable holiday staying at The Haven, 5-12 April 08. Comfortable accommodation, shops and friendly pub, serving delicious food, a stones throw away and breathtaking views of the peninsula. Ideal for dog owners as lovely walks just outside the back door! Quiet , peaceful and homely.
