Lizard Lighthouse Cottages !

The working lighthouse was established in 1619, with the current towers being built in 1752. In 1924 it became the first electrically powered lighthouse before being fully automated in 1998 with a 26 mile light range and an automatic 3 mile fog signal if conditions are misty.

The on-site visitor centre provides tours of the working lighthouse and an opportunity to learn about the work of Trinity House.
