Spotlight on Coverack - Cornwall![]() Coverack Self Catering Cottages Lying in a sheltered corner around from Black Head, Coverack is a pretty little fishing village with a small protected harbour. A haven on a rocky and dangerous coast. It has a few shops and a hotel named 'The Paris' (after a ship wrecked at Lowland Point in 1899, but which was later refloated). There are a couple of car parks and the Helston bus stops here. The tide comes right up to the sea wall here, but at low tide some sand is exposed in between the rocks and pebbles. The cliffs in the direction of Kennack Sands are truly beautiful; especially in summer when the heather is in bloom, but if you want a less strenuous walk, then head in the other direction towards Porthoustock.
